Umami in Berlin

One of the best quality asians in the area. Unfortunately ordered Chicken and got Tofu when picked up the order, but still was delicious.

Beautiful place , so authentic. Food was average for me and pricey. But enjoyed lunch with friends.

I arrived just before the queue, I saw people that had to wait to have a table but definitely worth it. I shared mine with other people and though the place was crowded and noisy I enjoyed my lunch a lot anyway. I had fresh spring rolls with prawns and Pho Bo, they also have vegan options. Service was very fast and kind, prices are very honest. Loved the scented candles in the beautiful (and clean) bathroom. Very cozy atmosphere .

Yummyyyy! Nice atmosphere, great food

Excellent food, orderd chicken and salmon. The taste was amazing. The hosts were polite and helpful. Food was served on time, but they can improve on taking the order faster as we were starving.

New favourite place in Berlin! Beautiful decoration, excellent atmosphere, quick service, polite stuff. I loved the food. Well cooked, variety, nice tastes. We ordered dishes for 3 and all 4 of us were full. Too bad that I have to wait until December now to go again.

Would rate the food 3/5 but the interior is really pretty therefore giving it 4/5. The food was decent but wasn’t spicy enough nor did it taste that authentic, tasted like it was Asian food geared towards a western palate. The beef on the pho was cut way to thick is should have been alot thinner. The papaya salad was oddly extremely sweet, and not tangy and spicy as it should be. The service was slow, but the atmosphere was nice. The total for 2 people (1 main, 2 appetiser, no drinks just water) was 17€ for lunch.

Bad service, waited for 40 minutes and apparently they forgot about our order. I had to go to counter and ask for food. They didn't even apologize. Service is terrible overall. Wouldn't recommend to anyone hungry

Amazing restaurant

Ordered the pho, spring rolls, and papaya salad for 2 people for lunch. The interior of the restaurant is quite cute, but the service wasn’t very attentive - could be because we were seated near the back of the restaurant. As for the food, it arrived quickly. It is however quite evident that the food is geared towards a western palate and it’s not as spicy as I’m used to. Could have been more seasoned, especially the papaya salad which was actually sweet. The total for our meal was 16.80€ (the waiter was kind enough to give us tap water)

Its a great addition to the otherwise tired Asian restaurant scene in Berlin. I love the japanese sitting room deep within and the old Indochinese colonial decoration in rhe bathrooms is super charming. Concerning the food, it was not the best pho I had in my life but the starters were all incredible. My colleagues' main dishes actually looked amazing. THANK YOU for offering the ever illusive lemongrass ice tea which is my FAVE. I will go there again to try different things for sure!

The best thing about this restaurant is the interior, it's so pretty, attractive and quite authentic. The staffs are nice and responsive and you don't have to wait much after you order your food. Taste wise and portion wise its nice. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Very cosy restaurant! Delicious food, especially the starters! Long queue but we got in quite quickly. Not the most talkative staff but since everything was delicious we didn't mind. We will come back!

Very delicious, but quite westernised viet food. The restaurant is very cozy, service is friendly. They have loads of tasty vegetarian options!

10 fries, 6 shrimps and a little bit of salad for 12.5eur ... Overpriced. (Other dishes seemed better though)

Amazing place

Very delicious Fish Pot! This giant portion of a perfectly fried salmon and lots of vegetables and rice in a delicious sauce is addictive 😃! Big menu, unique non-alcohol cocktails, great staff with the nicest attitude towards customers and a nice cozy atmosphere (the bathroom is worth additional star btw). The overall experience will make you want to come back many times and bring all your friends!

Awesome food!!! It was crowded but the service was friendly although it was very busy. We ordered the set family meal for 2 and it was great. The soup broth was tasty, the beef and chicken were juicy. The dessert was divine. This place is in my hall of fame.

Although not the best Vietnamese food I ever had, the food comes in a really beautiful and colorful presentation at very reasonable prices. There's no booking, but their friendly staff will make sure to get you a table fairly quickly.

A very beautiful restaurant situated in a pleasant street. The effort that has been made by the owner and the staff to give the clients a real feeling of authentic Vietnamese cuisine is truly appreciated. The staff, furthermore, was extremely kind and polite, even at a time when the restaurant was full. Exactly what one can expect from a great restaurant's staff. The food came in great quantities and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Fish pot (~ 8€), not only for it is tasty but it's also very healthy and can be considered a full balanced meal all by itself. A full meal also comes in a very acceptable price, which adds yet anothet layer of pleasure for a young student like me. Ps: Do not be afraid of the quantities, in Berlin, most restaurant, including this one, offer the possibility for the clients who can't finish their meal to take away what is left of it to finish it off later. It avoids throwing away food (which no one wants to do) and this way everyone can save up some money and feel better about themselves ! Ps2: the waitress who took care of my table did her absolute best and I wish to address her my most sincere thanks for having made this diner which was already perfect, above perfect.
